nCaptain Herberts, of the barque Acacia, which arrived today reports having fallen in nwith the schooner Edith May, 25 days out from Daintree Bay to Melbourne off Jervis Bay. She signalled that she was shortnof provisions, and a supply was given to her. The captain stated that a part of the crew had been laid up with fever, but were much better. The schooner tried to make Sydney, but failed.
