The Lady Denman Heritage Complex Huskisson is an Incorporated Association in NSW, and trades as the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery.

The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum completes a Strategic Plan to set its goals and actions for a 3-5 year period. Each Strategic Plan is developed in partnership with our major stakeholders, members, volunteers and staff.

The Museum’s Constitution is based on the Model Rules as required by the New South Wales Government Department of Fair Trading.
The Objects of the Museum’s Constitution are:
(1) To maintain, in good order, the collection of the Association
(2) To continue to collect, record and preserve artefacts and archival material relating to the Jervis Bay region and other objects acquisitioned according to the Collection Policy.
(3) To initiate historical research relating to the Jervis Bay region
(4) To undertake the restoration and maintenance of the Lady Denman Ferry and other heritage vessels in the Association’s collection
(5) Development and maintenance of lands, waters and buildings subject to an agreement with the Shoalhaven City Council and as authorised by the State.
(6) To operate and develop a museum based on the Association’s collections and to actively encourage public interest in the museum and the reserve.
(7) For the purpose of achieving and of furthering these objectives to buy to sell to trade to barter to contract to borrow to lend and to employ
(8) To undertake any action including fundraising which is in accordance with the objects of the Association.
(9) To plan and implement temporary exhibitions
(10) To do all things which are incidental to achieving and the furthering of all and of any of these objects.
