Make a bequest and be part of the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery's Future

Bequests

Make a bequest and be part of the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery’s Future growth for Generations to come. Each Living Bequest or gift in will can be tailored to suit your needs and future vision.

A bequest helps care for the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum collection, supports community engagement, and educates future visitors.

You can make a bequest as a specific sum, asset, estate percentage, or the remaining balance after providing for loved ones.

By giving to the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery you are helping us fulfil our vision into the future.

The following wording for leaving a bequest is provided as a guide only. We strongly recommend that you seek independent legal advice when writing or updating your Will.

“I give to Jervis Bay Maritime Museum ABN84 292 148 464, supporting the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, for its general purposes, free of all duties, [insert amount OR percentage of estate OR residue of estate] for which an authorised receipt from the Treasurer will be a sufficient discharge at law for my executor(s) or trustee.”

Broad, unrestricted bequests are always the most helpful, however if you are considering restricting your legacy to a specific purpose or leaving an item for our collection, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your plans before you commit them to a Will, to ensure that your wishes can be met.
