WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE FROM 2027
Imagine being an urban designer for a day! How would you plan a city that’s safe, sustainable and enjoyable for everyone? Would you include walkable streets, green spaces for wildlife, and homes designed to suite our changing climate? This activity invites students to think critically about how to design choices that impact the way we live.
This guided tour (Program?) introduces students to the fascinating world of urban planning through the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum’s collection of plans, lithographs, and historical artefacts. Students will learn how planning decisions – from the Garden City to today’s sustainable design – impact health, well-being, and the way communities grow.
